Pilot Housing
For our out of state and foreign full time flight students we can help you organize a place to stay during your flight training with us. Group 3 has its own housing that is less than 1 mile walking distance from the Van Nuys airport! The house is a 3 bedroom 2 bath home in Van Nuys’ Lake Balboa community. Group 3 offers yet another hassle free option to staying in Los Angeles. No outside rental contracts - everything is handled through Group 3 Aviation.
You have a choice of 3 bedrooms if house is empty at the time of your booking:
Bedroom 1
Has a Queen Size bed; Room is sunny and has lots of cabinet space. Has own entrance via back door next to parking space. Also has own toilet - but no shower or tub these must be shared with other house mates.

This facility offers an eighteen hole par 3 course and a nine hole executive course. The Eighteen Hole Course is a primarily flat par 3 course with water hazards and trees incorporated into the design. The signature hole is #7, 108-yard, par 3, which requires a tee shot past water on the right side of the fairway. The Executive Course has three par 4’s. Tee times are required for the executive 9-hole course, but not for the par 3 18-hole course.

Balboa Municipal Golf Course is a short-length golf course with narrow tree-lined fairways. Balboa provides a real challenge for mid to high handicap golfers. Balboa was designed by William P. Bell & Sons and opened in 1954 as the Sepulveda North Course. Balboa Municipal Golf Course is part of a 36-hole Sepulveda Dam Recreation Area complex along with Encino Municipal Golf Course. The charming tree lined golf course was lengthened by Steve Timm in 2008.
