Accomodations
Group 3 can arrange accommodation for you. There are a number of options available depending on your length of stay and your budget.
We can arrange for you to stay in self-contained apartments which are a short walk from the airport. The apartment complex is well managed and has a bbq area, swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The cost of this is $650 per month plus utilities based on sole-occupancy. The cost of this can be further reduced if you share but is dependent on having another Group 3 student currently willing to share.
If you prefer staying in a motel or hotel there are a variety of choices in the local area; ranging in price from $65.00 to $95.00 plus per night. Alternatively, a thirty-minute drive to Santa Monica offers a number of hostels on the beach, with prices starting at $18.00 per night.
Transportation
Staying close to the airport will not require having a car, as all conveniences are close by. However if you want to make time for sightseeing, or plan to stay elsewhere, then renting a car is straightforward. To rent you will have to have an international driving license and a credit card. There are a wide variety of cars available for rent, everything from rent-a-wrecks for $7 per day to limousines for hundreds of dollars per hour. We are sure that we can find something between these two extremes to suit your needs. Again, tell us what you need and we can make the arrangements.
